I've known the Artist, Designer, DJ & VJ, Run Paint Run for going on 9 years and have often been surprised at his style and creative genius. Pim as he is affectionately known is not only a very good friend and fellow fetishist but we have also collaborated on a number of projects over the years.

The two most notable was the painting in oils of me in a Latex Hood that i'm sure many you have already seen on my previous site.  The original now takes pride of place in my living room here in Amsterdam.

The second was a 15 year tribute to the people of Wasteland past, present and future. Look carefully at 00:55 & 13:36 and you'll see me resplendent in Gas mask and Latex Catsuit.

Notable participants included Dutch Dame, Dr Mad, Miss Mirjana, Marie Katze, Irresistible Iris, Mr & Mrs Truelove, Sasha De Monaco, Shabby Dekker lead singer of the Vulgarettes and Karin QT West. In total there were as many as 40 people who took part in the project created by both Pim & Peter Diablow.

Such was the success of Pim's collaboration with Dutch Photographer Peter Diablow that other Party Organizations have since engaged Pim's work on a more regular basis creating such wall VJ shows as this one for Crazyland Iceland in 2009

Pim's currently working on a very similar but closely guarded secret project for the next Wasteland Party on April 21st 2012 at The Northsea Venue, Hemkade 48, Zaandam, Netherlands

He also appears as the resident DJ at The Korsakoff on Lijnbaansgracht, Amsterdam every 4th Saturday of the month for a superb Gothic party called OUT OF CONTROL

David Riley "I think it started late last year with me and Darkwing Zero, I was looking for an artist to collaborate with, for a while, until I came across her, I stumbled across some quite good artwork on the Hyper femmes site that she did, but also, I noticed that she takes on bespoke commission work, it all started from there."

Lady Ana - "Can you tell us something about the characters you draw?"
David Riley - "The characters themselves go back as far as 2002-3 where it started as cartoon doodles, only a few characters were created. Fast forward to today and there are 30-40 individual female characters - humans, aliens, robots or even transsexuals are among all this, showing off future fetish at its best, but nearly half of them show off in a colour coded way (outfits, lips, hair, fingernails and perhaps toenails matching the same colour). So far, there’s a character for magenta/purple, green and blue. There are revamped characters on the way for orange, black and hopefully, yellow."

David Riley - "The artwork prints by Darkwing Zero are for sale on an art gallery site (in $), also, I'm just thinking about a special unique uniform that I could wear if I were at an exhibition, showing off the artwork. I'm thinking whether to go down the fetish or non-fetish route with my art."

Gernot (1969- date) is a painter, freelance illustrator, sculptor and designer who lives and works in Bavaria (Germany). Once upon a time he created and exhibited large sized, frightening machinery pictures and ugly creatures in oil paint during the 90's. He eventually decided to concentrate more of his time creating the bizarre, unusual and the accentuated female shape.

Several illustrations of bold mistresses, voluptuous pony-girls, masked nuns and rubberized maids followed. As a consequence his first publications appeared in fetish magazines such as Secret and Twilight and eventually a permanent cooperation with the world’s leading magazine in this genre – Marquis.

Gernot draws and paints his bizarre characters with a passion yet is very technical in his approach. Since about 1998 he has earned his living from books, original art, flyers graphics, copies for tattoo studios and commissioned works for private clients. He also sculpts figurines for his series of stylish fetish sculptures. Very much a character and one who should be followed rather closely. Chris Howard, who who goes by the name CHRIS! and resides in England (in the style of Tom of Finland) is a highly rated fetish and erotic artist. Perusing the web following seeing the film A Girl Like Me (made in 2006) on RTL8 on Dutch Television 22nd April 2012, i started doing a little research into acceptance of TGirls in the American community and was utterly gobsmacked at the backward attitude of American Society to Transgendered people.

A Girl Like Me is a film depicting the Gwen Araujo story which documents the real life of Gwen Araujo born Edward Araujo a Transgendered 17 year old who was murdered in 2002 by 4 men when they discovered she had male genitalia.

Whilst Gwen's family seemed to support her in her transition and also accept the fact that this is how she was i was shocked at more than one item in the film but was greatly relieved to note her acceptance by an American Biker fraternity, the leader of whom said he met her only once and said she was such lovely person that he and his cohorts wanted to give the family a biker escort to the church.

I don't want to go into too much detail about the film nor the story or the trial but you won't believe the things that Gwen endured just to live her life as who she was. It's a shocking true story about courage and tolerance and is sure to impact on your life as it has mine. 

There's so much that can be said about the ensuing court cases; yes i did say cases as the first trial was ruled a mistrial when the jurors dealocked on first degree murder charges. Hate crime seems to be prevalent almost everywhere (even here in Holland) but am absolutely gobsmacked that in the state of California and the Bay area (otherwise known as San Francisco) that people are so intolerant to anyone who isn't either Male or Female. After all isn't San Francisco one of the Original Gay and Lesbian communities in the USA?

Towards the end of the film we saw references to Religion and some God fearing individuals protesting to the fact that Gwen was who she was. Even the Vicar commented that he didn't think it right that the normal open casket be allowed for Gwen's burial.

Religion has never been my favourite subject, as without religion we probably wouldn't have the problems that we as Transgendered people have.
